+ The location is ideal for getting around Singapore. Walking distance to many of the attractions plus the convenience of the Clarke Quay MRT if you wanted to go further afield.
− Singapore is an expensive destination. The hotel prices are high but no more than others for the level and standards offered.

+ Pool was wonderful respite from heat. Surprised us with birthday cake and card in room which was a lovely touch. The 5pm free cakes in foyer a lovely touch if back in the hotel by this time
− Laundry expensive $13 Singapore dollars to wash and another $13 to dry. Clothes didn’t dry so had to do another drying run. Also disappointed water in foyer taken away at 4pm just when you return from days adventures and could do with a cold drink.

+ Nice staff big room very cool and clean.
− I ordered a balcony room, looking at the photo of the hotel i expected to get a pool view or river view , i got neither, i got a main road. The dining area was too big too.
