+ Axel Hotel Madrid was the perfect place to stay after the Gay Games. The location is excellent, with Chueca, Gran Vía and plenty of restaurants, bars and cafés all within easy walking distance. The room was modern, clean and comfortable, the rooftop pool was a great place to unwind, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. The hotel has a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere that made us feel at home, and it was an excellent base for exploring Madrid.
