+ The location was perfect
− As I pointed out when checking out, there was a dreadful smell of damp in the room, as though the floor rug had been vaxed & just hadn’t dried out completely

− Whilst the hotel itself is possibly not worthy of the above scores the 2 things that stood out was that - even with a fan - the bedroom was stiflingly hot and a really uncomfortable night ensued. Also be aware that Dublin is particularly rife with drugs and addicts and homeless. On our entrance to the hotel we were confronted by a man high on drugs with his t shirt off and his hand down his trousers. I appreciate this is not the hotel's responsibility but be aware that Dublin is unnerving AND expensive.
