+ The breakfast was exception and the staff working the breakfast room were so warm and friendly. The property is very centrally located, in a relatively quiet neighborhood, but still away from the noise and clutter. The front desk, porters, all of them are exceptionally helpful and friendly.
− The property has been newly renovated. The rooms have ON and OFF switches by the door and by the bedside. The way they work with each other is a bit clunky.

+ I have stayed here many times before and loved it. There has been a complete refurbishment and the hotel just reopened, it is even more beautiful and welcoming.

+ This isn’t so much of a review as a thank you to Dionysia who was such a help. My family and I were due to stay for two nights but the hotel was under construction when we arrived which left us in a precarious position. Thankfully Dionysia predicted that we may arrive having not heard back from our travel company and made arrangements for us to stay elsewhere. We were very grateful for her proactive approach and kindness to weary travellers, not to mention finding us fantastic rooms at The Melia and paying for the taxi. No doubt when the hotel re-opens it will be wonderful, especially with such a capable person at the helm. Thank you again, we were truly grateful.
