+ Absolutely gorgeous property. Room was spacious and comfortable and clean. My little Juliette balcony was perfect to people watch
− Not knowing that you’re not able to have the uber drop you off directly in front of the hotel. Took a minute to get oriented. The hotel should perhaps give the heads up about that

− Street was blocked off in front of the hotel so automobile access to entrance was impossible. Very, very inconvenient for going out on tours. Had to carry luggage outside zone of blocked streets for arrival and leaving hotel to catch transportation.

+ We had an excellent experience. First of all, the interior with its breath-taking stained glass ceiling and lovely lounges are worth the experience. But it is the staff that made it so special. They exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a large variety of Mexican and western- style dishes. And the view from the Terraza on the 4th floor with the architectural splendor of the cathedral, the presidential palace and state buildings is unbeatable, especially at night when they’re all illuminated. I highly recommend their shrimp tacos! I can’t recommend this hotel enough.
